Now, let’s dive deeper into the world of your adorable companions! In Time Heroes, pets are the key to your success, and you’ll find them by hatching eggs on the Pets page. The DPS of each pet is determined by four key attributes: its rarity, type, tier, and whether it's shiny. Each pet you hatch brings unique abilities that can make a big difference in your gameplay.

# Pet Rarities

Pets come in seven different rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical and… well, I can hardly remember the seventh one—it’s that rare. The rarer the pet, the more powerful it is, meaning it has a higher DPS (damage per second). While rarer pets are a bit harder to find, they’re totally worth the effort because they bring a lot more power to your team. Now, here’s the good news! If you’re having a streak of bad luck, don’t worry—after opening 33 eggs, you’re guaranteed to hatch at least one Epic pet thanks to our special algorithm, and if you open 125 eggs, you’ll definitely get a Legendary pet. So, be patient—you’ll get that Legendary pet you’ve been dreaming about! But as for those Mythical pets, well, they’re a different story. They’re super rare, so you’ll need a bit of luck to find one.

And that mysterious seventh rarity? It’s like a legend—everyone talks about it, but few have ever seen it, kind of like the Loch Ness Monster. Maybe you’ll be the first to uncover its secrets, or maybe it’ll stay hidden, just out of reach. Some say it has a completely different DPS, or maybe it just wants to sleep all day and not break any stones at all. Who knows? Keep hatching and see if this mysterious creature is more than just a myth!

# Pet Rarity Breakdown

Note: The probabilities shown above represent the chances of hatching each pet rarity at different “Luck” upgrade levels, from Level 1 to Level 50. These probabilities improve linearly with each upgrade. Since we can't fit all the probabilities for each upgrade level into the table, we've only included the minimum (Level 1) and maximum (Level 50) values to give you a clear overview of the progression.

# Pet Types

In Time Heroes, pets come in three types: Basic, Golden, and Rainbow. These types not only add variety but also a touch of style—because who doesn’t love a bit of gold? While Basic pets are your trusty companions, Golden and Rainbow pets bring more power to your team and look great doing it. Of course, with great power comes great responsibility—you can’t hatch Golden or Rainbow pets from eggs without upgrades, but you can still get them by upgrading your existing pets.

Note: The probabilities shown above represent the chances of hatching each pet type at different “Golden Luck” and “Rainbow Luck” upgrade levels, from Level 1 to Level 50. The “Golden Luck” upgrade affects only the probability of hatching Golden pets and has no impact on Rainbow pets, while the “Rainbow Luck” upgrade solely increases the probability of hatching Rainbow pets. These probabilities improve linearly with each respective upgrade. Since we can't fit all the probabilities for each upgrade level into the table, we've only included the minimum (Level 1) and maximum (Level 50) values to give you a clear overview of the progression.

# Pet Tiers

As you progress through stages in Time Heroes, you’ll unlock new eggs that contain even more powerful pets. Each time you finish a stage, the next stage’s egg becomes available, offering powerful pets with 5 times more DPS of the previous tier! Of course, with greater power comes a higher cost, but it’s all part of the adventure.

Each stage has its own unique theme, and the eggs match these themes, making your journey visually and strategically engaging. Continuously moving to the next stage’s egg not only keeps the game fresh but also ensures you’re always progressing and getting stronger.

Did your friend hatch a Huge pet in the earlier stages and you’re feeling a bit left out? No worries! While that Mythical pet might have had a big impact in previous stages, as the game progresses, pets from newer stages—with even lower rarities like Rare—can eventually overpower them. Modern problems require modern solutions, and we’ve got plenty of them to keep your team on top!

Note: There’s no need for a table here because, the formula for calculating the Tier multiplier is straight forward:

Tier Multiplier =5^{(\text{tier} - 1)}

This structure makes progression through the stages both rewarding and impactful.

# Shiny Pets

We wanted to brighten your day and add a little sparkle to your journey, so we created Shiny pets! These special variations come with an extra shine—and a boost to their power. The probability of hatching a Shiny pet increases as you to travel to a first colony first time, so keep venturing into the unknown and watch your collection shine even brighter!

# Shiny Type Breakdown

Note: Each new colony you visit boosts your Shiny Level by 1, raising the chances of hatching a Shiny pet. So, using that rocket to explore is more than just an adventure—it’s a great investment in making your pet collection even more powerful!

# DPS Calculation

The overall DPS of a pet in Time Heroes is determined by combining the effects of four key attributes: Shiny status, Type, Rarity, and Tier. The formula for calculating Pet DPS is:

Pet DPS= ShinyM ×TypeM ×RarityM×TierM×100

( M is abbrevation for Multplier)

Here are three in-depth examples for better comprehension:

Basic Shiver ( Non-Shiny Basic Common Tier 1 Pet):

ShinyM = 1, TypeM = 1, RarityM = 1, TierM = 1

PetDPS = 1 ×1 ×1 ×1 ×100 = 100

Shiny Golden Breeze ( Shiny Golden Rare Tier 1 Pet):
